Holtec International is seeking both experienced and entry level candidates for Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager positions to support the planning and oversight of dry cask storage (“pool to pad”) projects at various Nuclear Power Plants across the United States as well as general support of the overall program. Project will require 30% time in the main headquarters and 70% at a job site.
Pre-planning activities to set the project up including but not limited to scheduling activities, support client meetings, issuance of supporting purchase orders
Coordination of resources for mobilization and project support
Daily management of the work flow
Client interaction during all planning and execution activities
Tracking of contract milestone billings
Issuance and closure of project commercial impacts
Manage project costs to ensure budgets are maintained. Document and manage changes in the work to ensure the interests of all stakeholders in the project are reasonably met
Document substantial completion; manage the project closeout process to ensure timely completion
Previous experience in nuclear industry or related (aerospace, utilities, etc.)
College degree preferred, but not required
5+ years’ experience in project management role for Project Managers position, 2+ years of related experience for assistant project manager position
Strong written/verbal communication skills
High level of proficiency with Excel and Word
Experience with scheduling program (Microsoft Projects or Primavera) desired
