Payroll Manager

Skills/Qualifications:

ADP Workforce Now application experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Multi-State experience processing payroll with minimum 200+ employees
Strong general computer skills, specifically MS Excel
Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team
Demonstrated ability to appropriately handle confidential information
Accounting, Human Resources and/or financial analytics a plus

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

Manages payroll and human resources information by collecting and maintaining new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, pay rates, exemptions, wage garnishments, and deductions
Responsible for final issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to employee bank accounts
Contributes to the organization by providing payroll information to Management, assisting in regular audits to ensure data accuracy and being a resource for company employees by addressing employee questions
Collaborates with Human Resources to effectively process personnel changes and performance tracking
Assists in the preparation of analytic reports to Finance and Human Resources departments
Assists in the maintenance of payroll guidelines by updating policies and procedures as needed
Assists in journal entry preparation of payroll activity
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

 

Qualifications:

Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or Business Management

Prior Payroll Processing experience
