Essential Job Functions
Assist QA Manager by reinforcing, monitoring, and sustaining Quality standards at HTC Manufacturing Facility, including policies on scope and retention requirements of QA documentation.
Review specifications, vendor procedures, and other documentation to verify compliance with technical QA requirements for the design, fabrication, and installation of nuclear power plant secondary loop structures, systems, components, and modifications thereof, as well as for non-nuclear projects.
Identify and track deviations (Nonconformances) which could create Safety hazards or malfunctions and return associated documentation to PLMs/PMs or higher level documents with recommended solutions.
Develop and review comprehensive fabrication documentation packages and certificates of compliance.
Develop and implement surveillance program to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
Apply advanced quality control techniques and statistical methods for collection of deficiency and maintenance of information to identify causes or trends, rate performance, and measure effectiveness of QA and Human Performance Quality Programs.
Verbal and Written Communication Skills with multiple organizational levels
Technical Writing skills
Computer Skills (Microsoft Suite: Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
Ability to present reports/data and make recommendations based on these reports/data
Ability to verify quality inspection methods and associated tests were completed
Knowledge of Manufacturing and Fabrication-- ASME codes Section III and Section VIII, AWS, nuclear code, and associated processes.
1-3 years’ experience in QA and Manufacturing or Fabrication/Engineering required to minimally perform the job duties.
