Food Service Grill Cook

Principle Duties:

*Preps daily breakfast and lunch items per the weekly menu

*Takes orders from guests and prepares items accordingly

*Serves guests in an efficient, friendly manner

*Ensures all food is at the correct temperature

*Uses approved recipes and productions standards to ensure a consistent, quality product

*Carries pots and pans of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator

*Stores food in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating and food safety rotation procedures

*Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils

*Performs other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

*Positive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately

*Team player

*Ability to work a flat top, fryer, grill and other kitchen equipment

*Basic food knowledge

*Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting and standing for long periods of time

*Knowledge of register operation, including cash, credit cards and register receipts

*Must have ability to work with and lead other crew members, as well as the ability to take direction from Supervisor/Manager.
