Holtec International is seeking a Vendor Expeditor to join our Procurement Group. This hands-on position requires the associate to be a strong communicator and is responsible for ensuring that the business has the supplies and inventory it needs to function according to schedule. Their duties include communicating with suppliers about the status of supplies, problem-solving to reduce the impact of late shipments, and following up on purchase order acknowledgments to vendors.

- Work with different heads of departments to monitor inventory levels, assess supply vendors, and ensure delivered supplies meet quality standards.
- Contact vendors, place orders, verify supplies, manage supply requisition, and communicate with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates and inform Project Managers of potential delays.
- Maintain production schedules for ongoing projects, assign materials from excess stock to reduce cost, boost productivity, and prevent delays that can affect delivery.
- Ensure interdepartmental communication for improved coordination of productive operations.
- Monitor project delivery timelines, check work quality against company requirements and specifications, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers to provide updates on delivery timelines.
- Compile, record, and report project performance and progress to management and key stakeholders.
- Audit of vendors as needed.
- Monitor & review Potential Vendor listings from our Heltec website.
- The candidate must have a background in inventory control, expediting, and procurement. More specifically the following are prerequisites for this position:
- Candidate must have a four-year college degree with at least three years of purchasing experience, preferably in the manufacturing & steel industries.

- Proficiency in spreadsheet software, inventory management tools, and accounting applications.
