Camden, NJ
Full Time
Entry Level
Video Surveillance Analyst
Location: Camden, NJ

Holtec Security International seeks qualified applicants for Video Surveillance Analysts (VSA) that are responsible for collecting and analyzing various facts, documents, video evidence, and other materials related to crimes, organizing them into a logical framework. The analyst conducts virtual patrols, monitors activities, and provides critical situational awareness to law enforcement personnel to support crime prevention and investigative efforts.

The VSA will be responsible for conducting virtual patrols of public spaces within designated areas to monitor known or suspected criminal activity, suspicious behavior, quality-of-life concerns, and other conditions relevant to public safety. VSA needs to communicate real-time situational awareness and observations to field units, ensuring timely response to potential threats or incidents while evaluating surveillance footage to ensure crime prevention efforts align with established crime prevention strategies, hotspot analysis, and emerging crime patterns.

The analyst will generate and manage virtual directed patrol assignments using Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems, ensuring proper documentation of camera locations and patrol details. This will lead to archiving and managing video footage for investigative, evidentiary, and regulatory compliance purposes. VSA duties require designed statistical reports and analyzed crime-related data to support law enforcement efforts and strategic planning. Additionally, the VSA will prepare detailed written reports and documentation of surveillance findings, ensuring clarity and accuracy. This is a high-pressure environment in which you will be managing multiple surveillance tasks simultaneously and must work efficiently. There are additional duties assigned related to crime analysis and public safety monitoring.

Minimum required qualifications include: High School Diploma or GED and one year of CCTV surveillance and/or intelligence analysis experience. The equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.

Additional desirable qualifications include: Prior experience in video surveillance, crime analysis, or a related field is preferred; strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze video footage effectively; proficiency in using surveillance software, CAD systems, and data analysis tools; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of law enforcement procedures and investigative techniques is a plus.

Physical Demands and Abilities include: Must be able to talk, hear, and work extensively with computer systems; the role may require lifting office-related materials up to fifty (50) pounds; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

This position plays a critical role in enhancing public safety through proactive video monitoring and data-driven crime analysis. If you are detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about contributing to community security, we encourage you to apply.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
