Description:
HSI is excited about our continued growth and are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to manage the infrastructure of one of our clients. This position will require expert experience in Networking, Systems Engineering, and cloud technologies. Candidates must also possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, documentation skills, presentation skills, and perform with minimal supervision.


Tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Design and implement network architectures
  • Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Implement QoS policies and traffic shaping
  • Building scalable, highly available, mission critical virtual and on-premises infrastructures
  • Identifying the need for IT system changes based on new security technologies or threats.
  • Supporting multi-site environments.
  • Managing technical requirements specific to redesigning the existing architecture, configuring and implementing scalable enterprise infrastructure and communicating requirements to senior management; both technical and non-technical.
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures
  • Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and anti-malware solutions
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Manage user access controls and identity management systems
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans
  • Implement backup and recovery solutions
  • Conduct regular disaster recovery testing
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of network infrastructure and configurations
  • Prepare regular reports on system performance, capacity, and security

Required Experience:
  • Strong Networking skills
  • Strong VMware Virtualization and Systems Administration principles and troubleshooting; including upgrades, and patching.
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
  • Active Directory engineering and management
  • Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • Windows Failover Clustering
  • Batch and PowerShell Scripting
  • SAN management
  • Windows Systems Security
  • MFA Setup and Administration
  • End User Training

Education and Certifications
  • The position requires a BS Degree and must have a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting servers; both virtual and on-prem. However, additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Must have experience leading technical teams with implementing and supporting system operations.
  • Associated certifications are a plus.
