Position: 2025 Summer Intern – Human Resources
Location: Palisades Energy
Dates/ Duration: Summer 2025 (approx. May - September)
Holtec Palisades seeks a highly motivated Summer Intern for the Human Resources department located at Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Covert, MI.
Palisades is positioned to become the first nuclear power plant in the United States to restart after previously entering the early stages of decommissioning. By joining our team, you will be part of a unique and historic undertaking for the nuclear industry and the nation!
In order to be considered, candidates must be actively enrolled in a college or university. Pay will be determined based on years completed. This role will be approximately 30 hours per week.

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the administration and support of HR Programs and policies.
- Assist with maintaining employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and process HR-related documents.
- Assist with the organization, maintenance, and digitalization of HR files.
- Support the HR team with administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing.
- Assist with internal communications related to HR initiatives.
- Assist in gathering information for employee surveys and feedback initiatives.
- Assist with various HR projects as assigned by the HR team.
- Conduct research on HR best practices and trends.
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- In good academic standing, with a GPA of at least 3.0.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Well organized and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and appropriate attitude, appearance, interpersonal skills, and work ethic.
