Holtec International seeks a Summer Intern for I&C and Electrical design in its I&C and Electrical Team with the Company’s Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Division located at the Company’s KPS Technology Campus in Camden, NJ. The intern will support the team with development of design documents for the SMR-300. This role provides a hands-on opportunity to develop project coordination skills, enhance communication abilities, gain experience in a fast-paced business environment, and develop critical professional skills in a real-world environment. The team is comprised of experts in the field of instrumentation, controls, and electrical distribution design.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support engineering team in development of design documents.
- Coordinate across team members working in different operation centers to facilitate collaboration
- Create and maintain action item lists, ensuring accountability and progress tracking
- Update and manage tasks based on priority, providing status updates as needed
- Develop and refine procedures and documentation to improve operational efficiency
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Experience with control theory
- Experience in equipment sizing or panel design.
